This Parmesan crusted tilapia is fast and easy to prepare. Its crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.
Parmesan Crusted Tilapia Recipe
INGREDIENTS
3 tilapia fillets
¼ cup breadcrumbs
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon ginger powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt to taste
1 teaspoon dried crushed pepper
olive oil
PREPARATION
Thaw(if frozen) and wash tilapia fillets and pat dry with paper towels.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (225 degrees C).
Combine parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, dried crushed pepper, ginger and garlic powder on a plate add some salt to taste but be careful about how much salt you add because of the parmesan.
Coat fillet with olive oil and cover fillet in the Parmesan mixture, patting it all over to coat.
Place in an oiled baking dish, repeat with remaining fillets.
Spray the fillets lightly with olive oil.
Bake at 450ºF for about 20 minutes or until they easily flake with a fork and edges are browning.
