French toast roll up is my go to breakfast whenever am craving something sweet and easy to make without breaking a sweat. To create this delightful snack, Slices of bread are rolled with a pin then filled with banana and peanut butter. It is rolled up tightly, dipped in egg and lightly fried. You can eat this on its own or with your favorite syrup. It is is a delicious treat for anytime of the day.
Peanut butter & banana french Toast Roll Up
Ingredients:
6 slices of wholegrain bread
2 eggs
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 sliced banana
Peanut butter
Vanilla extract
Preparation:
Cut crusts from slices of bread and flatten bread with rolling pin.
Spread peanut butter on 1 side of the bread. Place the sliced banana on the peanut butter spread.
roll up the slice of bread tightly. Continue for remaining slices.
In a shallow dish, beat eggs and milk with whisk. Add vanilla extract and mix it all up
In a skillet, add two tablespoon of olive oil and spread to coat the inside of skillet.
Dip each roll into egg mixture, and place in skillet.
Cook and turn until roll is golden brown.
Remove from skillet and Roll in cinnamon sugar till it’s completely covered.
Then serve.
