INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb French green beans
- 12 pork bacon rashers
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Coarse sea salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
- Boil a large pot of water. Add the green beans in to the pot of boiling water for 5 minutes and transfer to cold water.
- Cook bacon on the stovetop until slightly cooked.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Dab beans green beans dry and toss with garlic powder and salt & pepper to taste.
- Roll 7 pieces of greenbeans into double rasher of bacon. Make sure you wrap them tightly to prevent the beans from falling out.
- Add the bacon-wrapped green bean to your baking pan with the ends down to prevent them from rolling open. You can also secure the bundles with a toothpick. Leave some space between the bundles so they don’t touch each other.
- Combine brown sugar with 1 tablespoon of water and lightly brush over each bundle.
- Roast 15-20 minutes or until bacon is crisp and beans are lightly roasted.
- Remove pan from oven and serve.
