Natural homemade cleaning products
Burnt pan paste
This formula is Best for Cast-iron, enamel pots and pans.
- Combine 2½ cups baking soda, 1½ cup salt , 2 tablespoons cream of tartar in a jar.
- pour a spoonful or two into the soiled pot or pan.
- Add a few drops of water enough to form a paste.
- Dampen a sponge and scrub the affected area. Rinse well and dry.
Do a spot test before you start scrubbing away, just to be sure your paste won’t scrub off your pan’s coating. The ingredients are mild abrasives and help dissolve tough caked on grime.
All purpose cleaner
- Add 2 tablespoons of distilled vinegar and 1 teaspoon liquid castile soap or any plant based soap to a new spray bottle.
- Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda and 2 cups of warm water,and shake gently.
Use on counters, kitchen and bathroom surfaces. Use with a microfibre cloth.
Fridge deodorant
- Pour some hot water, a few drops of lemon essential oil and white vinegar into a spray bottle,
- shake to combine .
- Spray the mixture in parts of the fridge you want to clean and let it sit for a minute or two.

- Pour 2 parts baking soda,1 part salt, 1 part washing soda into a bowl and mix well.
- Splash water on the bath surface to make it wet,

- Scrub with brush until the surface is clean, then rinse well with water.
To get rid of mildew in the bathroom, spray vinegar in the affected area, allow it to seat for about 30 minutes, scrub with a sponge and rinse off.

- Mix ½ cup white vinegar 1 gallon warm water, 3 drops lemon or lavender essential oil together in a bucket.

Combine lemon juice, vinegar and olive oil in a small bowl, dab a little onto a microfiber cloth, and work into wooden furniture and fixtures in a circular motion.

- Combine 2 cups of white vinegar with citrus peel.
- Put in a jar. Leave it to infuse in the vinegar for a few days.

Mix some vinegar and lemon juice in a spray can.
Spray mixture inside the microwave and wipe clean with a warm cloth.
Tile cleaner
Mix ½ cup baking soda, liquid soap and 8 drops of rosemary or lemon grass essential oil in a bowl.
Scrub tile with mixture and wipe off with a wet cloth.
